RAN/ZRU
The insight
was strong. Runners not able to run. The running community sitting in a cage
for months. Pandemia was hitting hard, specially in Spain.
The goal
was to show we were united. To show runners could achieve great things when together.
And we wanted to take the lead and own it.
Rooter on
this strong insight we created RAN ZRU (“Run through”, but as it sounds here). Under that
name, we created the concept, the branding, the logo and a bit of visual
direction. We called to action to recruit city leaders to build city teams and
find the way to run across their city respecting all the Covid19 regulations
existing at that time.
Thru weekly
Zoom calls and a bit of homework, captain connecting with captain, and that one
with the next one and so on, we manage to align +150 runners to run thru Spain,
from northeast to southwest, by relays, the 1.550km that crosses Spain in
diagonal to the Atlantic coast in Huelva.
High reach
media echoed the achievement from Antena 3 to La Sexta to Cuatro to every local
paper and radio station. But more important than that, we brought the
running community together to celebrate running is ours, and running unites.
