Along our more than 20 years of experience in the sports industry and our strong leadership experience in brands like Nike, we believe we learnt a lot that can help other brands to be better.

We learnt every challenge needs a specific approach. Brand and Marketing teams often tend to apply the same playbook or approach to different situations, and we truly believe consumer’s expectations fly way higher than that.

We discovered we love digging deeper than brand teams use to dig (sorry!), we like respecting consumers more than brands teams use to respect (again) and we look for solutions to connect brands with consumers in the most meaningful way possible.

We also learnt story-doing replaces story-telling, but the way you tell your projects still makes the difference. We still believe curated content makes a difference as an extension of your brand.

Our more than 20 years of experience in Marketing being part of highly successful companies like Nike moved us to create Pigeons Solutions.

Both crazy sports lovers, Marcel stronger in everything adventure, everything out-of-track and Raúl more attracted in everything he could track, plan and measure. Slight difference with still more things in common.

Marcel holds huge experience in branding, design and strategy. Raúl comes with 23 years of experience in Nike, the sports brand.

Both worked together during the last 5 successful years, re-shaping NikeRunning in Spain to become the #1 brand both in consumer perception, market share and profitability with the best results in Europe.

The partnership between Raúl, as Nike Running Marketing Director for EMEA South and Marcel, as external consultant for the Marketing Running Dept., became a very effective blend being driven by very clear principles: Consumer and industry knowledge, ‘do the right thing’, boost communities, manage resources with efficiency, add value to the business you are in, solve situations with high amount of creativity and scape from the tactical solutions moving to the more strategic way of doing things. 

Marcel funded Pigeons Runners, the most revolutionary and advance running project in Spain. Together, unique projects and initiatives responding to the ambition to change the game and lead the business in a moment where competition was fierce.

Now, only 12 months later, we create Pigeons Solutions to offer our way of doing things to other brands, sports brands or not, looking for help to respond to their brand/ consumer challenges, looking to do things differently, looking to have an external view or input on what they do, looking to spice up their brand initiatives or looking to find solutions to respond to their brand/ business challenges.
